EL NUEVO MAGNETISMO (2003-2011)

 

El Nuevo Magnetismo (2003-2011) is the name of the first release by El mató a un policía motorizado outside Argentina. Senhor F Discos, based in Porto Alegre, will edit and distribute a compilation album with a selection of all our records plus two unreleased bonus tracks, all over Brazil. It is a special edition for Brazil that will also be available in Argentina. More information and the release date will be published soon.

FESTIVAL LAPTRA

 

Festival Laptra was perfect, thank you to all the bands and all the guys and girls that showed up to celebrate with us. We are very happy to be able to accomplish a party like this one, all of us together in harmony with the great spirit. See you in the next edition!

SONIC YOUTH

 

Thanks everyone for the evenings at Radio Nacional on Tuesday, November 1st and at Personal Fest on Saturday 5th. To see the giant round grow under the moonlight, before the round dance in Prenderte Fuego, was beautiful and magic, we will never forget it. After that, tired and happy, we enjoyed Sonic Youth's performance, the closing to a perfect day.

SOUTH AMERICAN TOUR IN PARAGUAY, BRAZIL AND URUGUAY

 

We want to tell you that the South American tour was amazing. Thanks to everyone that made it possible and to all the friends that came to the shows in Posadas, Asunción, Porto Alegre and Montevideo, they were beautiful evenings that we miss. We visited Asunción for the first time and fell in love, the send-off completed our sensorial tourism with a Puretón and a grapefruit Pulp that we will never forget. We played in Porto Alegre for the third time and had a wonderful time as always, we shared the stage with our new favourite band Medialunas and we toasted at the end of the day with the great Senhor F. And the end of the tour at Montevideo was very emotive, our eighth concert in the Uruguayan capital city in five visits, found us under a beautiful and sunny spring afternoon, with a lot of friends that sang and danced with us, in the celebrations of Uruguayan Bicentenary. We hope we can go back soon, and also visit and know new cities. Thank you all and till next time.

NEW RECORDINGS AT FUERA DEL TUNEL

 

We continued to record our new album last Monday and Tuesday, this time at Fuera del Túnel studio. Hernán and Vinci were awesome, they helped us a lot with their wisdom and good vibes, we already miss them. We are now starting mixing the album with Eduardo Bergallo at Revolver studio, by the end of this month.

ABOUT OUR TRIP TO CORDOBA AND CAMPANA

 

Romantic and cold evenings in Villa María, Córdoba and Campana. Thank you all for the beautiful celebrations of last weekend, hugging and dancing was good to counter the invasive freeze. We hope to return soon with our new album.

THE END OF NUEVO MAGNETISMO TOUR IN EUROPE

 

The apocalyptic and magical tour through Europe is over. We thank all the friends that, with much love and affection, came to party with us in the spiritual celebrations of the new magnetism that were performed in the cities of Barcelona, Madrid, Mallorca, zaragoza, Castellón, Valencia, Murcia, Tarragona, Marseille, Bordeaux and Berlin. Our eternal love to all who helped us to accomplish this beautiful journey that we will never forget. To those who tucked us in and invited us to timely toasts, to our metal house with wheels that was always faithful and efficient, and to the producers, festivals and independient media, that bet for alternative art. Thank you all and till our next trip.
